Following the two days of continuous torrential rain that drenched Edinburgh on Wednesday and Thursday, it appeared to be dry today and I thought it would be safe to venture out-and-about. Customised punk clothing
One of the shops in my street was taken over a year-or-two ago by a guy, Gerry Gapinski, who makes punk-style artwork and clothing, and he often has interesting items on display in the window. He customises old clothing with stencils, spray-paint, bleach, zips and fabric patches, similar in style to the clothing worn by The Clash in their early ( Read more... ) -
Revisiting Gorebridge
Prompted by this post from July 2011, in which I recently re-posted the photos and edited the privacy setting, I had in mind to revisit Gorebridge Station as I haven't been there since the railway to Galashiels and Tweedbank reopened in September 2015.
